แหล่งข่าววงในเผยว่ามือถือ Samsung Galaxy C10 จะเป็นมือถือตัวแรกจาก Samsung ที่ใช้ระบบกล้องคู่ โดยจะเปิดตัวและวางจำหน่ายภายในปีนี้ ซึ่งมีการคาดการ์ณว่าน่าจะเป็นช่วงก่อนที่ Note 8 จะเปิดตัวอีกด้วย

แหล่งข่าวครั้งนี้มาจากประเทศจีนระบุว่า ซัมซุงกาแลคซี่ C10 จะมีรหัสวางจำหน่าย SM-C9150 ใช้หน่วยประมวลผลรุ่นใหม่อย่าง Snapdragon 660, มีปุ่ม Bixby เหมือนกับ Samsung Galaxy S8 และมีกล้องคู่ด้านหลัง
แหล่งข่าวอื่นก่อนหน้านี้คาดการณ์ว่ามือถือรุ่นแรกที่จะใช้กล้องคู่คือ Samsung Galaxy Note 8 แต่ข้อมูลใหม่เผยว่าซัมซุงกาแลคซี่ C10 จะเป็นรุ่นแรก แม้จะยังไม่มีกำหนดวางจำหน่ายที่ชัดเจน แต่ก็คาดได้ว่า ซัมซุงกาแลคซี่ C10 จะวางจำหน่ายก่อนไตรมาสที่ 4 ของปีนี้ (เป็นช่วงเปิดตัว Galaxy Note 8) อย่างแน่นอน
Samsung ได้วางตำแหน่งของ Galaxy C เอาไว้กึ่งกลางระหว่าง Galaxy A และ Galaxy S โดยรุ่น Galaxy C นี้จะมีวัสดุประกอบระดับพรีเมียม สเปคระดับกลางค่อนบน แต่ไม่บนสุดๆ เหมือน Galaxy S นั่นเอง
